MEMBER

TiE Charter Members (CMs) are accomplished entrepreneurs, corporate intrapreneurs, and thought leaders who have reached a pinnacle in their professional journey and are eager to give back to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. They embody the TiE mission of fostering wealth creation, mentoring the next generation, and strengthening the entrepreneurial community.

Charter Members play a pivotal role in shaping TiE’s vision and operations, offering their expertise, leadership, and experience to empower fellow members and aspiring entrepreneurs. The rewards of Charter Membership go beyond personal recognition—they lie in contributing meaningfully to a global network of innovation and impact.

NxtGen Membership is open to young entrepreneurs and emerging leaders who meet any of the following criteria:

Age Requirement

  • Must be between 21 and 32 years old.

Eligible Groups

  • TiE Alumni: Graduates of TYE, TiE U, and TiE Women programs seeking continued engagement with TiE.
  • Charter Members’ Children: Young adults (21–32) from existing Charter Member families who are involved in family businesses or pursuing their own entrepreneurial journey.
  • Early-Stage Entrepreneurs: Individuals at the beginning of their startup or entrepreneurial path.
  • Founders of Incorporated Startups: Entrepreneurs who have incorporated a company and reached MVP or pre-revenue stage.
  • Next-Gen Business Leaders: Successors of Charter Members who have joined or are preparing to join family enterprises.

TiE ASSOCIATE
MEMBER

The TiE Associate Membership is designed for early-stage entrepreneurs, young professionals, and aspiring founders who are ready to accelerate their business journey. It provides a gateway to TiE’s global network of industry leaders, mentors, and accomplished entrepreneurs.

Associates gain access to curated learning opportunities, practical insights, and meaningful peer-to-peer connections—helping them build skills, strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset, and navigate the path from idea to growth with confidence.

Applicants may apply directly or be referred by an existing TiE member. Ideal candidates include:

  • Early-stage entrepreneurs, startup founders, or small-business owners (from ideation to operational stages)
  • Professionals or aspiring founders seeking exposure to entrepreneurship
  • Individuals with demonstrated entrepreneurial intent or initial market traction
  • SMEs or business operators contributing to job creation or market impact
  • Anyone with a genuine interest in learning, networking, and engaging with the TiE community

Associate Members receive access to a wide range of learning, networking, and growth opportunities, including:

TiE STUDENT
MEMBER

TiE Student Membership is designed for high school and university students who want to learn about entrepreneurship, business basics, and industry trends. Members can participate in programs such as TiE Young Entrepreneurs, TiE University Pitchfest, and other student initiatives at TiE Indianapolis.

Students gain access to bootcamps, workshops, and TiE events where they can learn from experienced mentors and serial entrepreneurs. Members also get opportunities to network, explore internship opportunities at TiE member companies, and attend major TiE events like TiEcon and the TiE Global Summit at discounted rates.

TiE Students members are enrolled in high school or university and are interested in learning about business basics, entrepreneurship and the latest trends in the industry.

  • Learn about Entrepreneurship via Bootcamp sessions, TiE events, etc.
